Day 7

On the morning of 15 February 2026, we began our return journey from Kraków. At 11 a.m., we left the Moon Hostel and said goodbye to our Israeli friends, who would not begin their return flight until the following day.

After arriving at the airport, we first went through security and then still had some time before our flight to Warsaw departed at 3:15 p.m. We landed there at around 4:15 p.m. The subsequent transfer to our onward flight to Germany was somewhat tense, since very little time remained. Nevertheless, we managed the change without any problems.

At 5 p.m., we finally departed for Germany. Many of us used the approximately two hour flight to catch up on some sleep, which had been in short supply during the intense week before. Others had animated conversations with their seatmates about the many impressions, moving encounters, and special experiences that we had been able to gather during this week of exchange.

Shortly afterwards, we landed in Germany. After collecting our luggage, we said goodbye to one another and began our journeys home. With that, an intense and impressive week of encounter came to an end, marked by many new experiences, moving moments, and newly formed friendships that will remain in our memories for a long time.
